If you later decide to pursue a career in Health and Safety, this course will provide an essential foundation course and it can be used as an entry qualification to the National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.

After completing the course, you will be required to register for the exam HSA1 which is a workplace health and safety review that should take approximately 3 hours to complete. This assessment is typically taken in the workplace and is designed to test your ability to put into practice the knowledge you have developed. Exam registration is included in your course fee but NEBOSH do charge for resits.

It is recommended that learners have a suitable standard of English equivalent to an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 5.0 or higher.
There is no additional charge for exams, registration is included in the price of the course. There is an additional charge for any resits that may be required, please check the NEBOSH website for current fees.
