There are no formal entry requirements for this course but already having the confidence to cook would be an advantage.
This 8-week Fine Dining (Part 1) course is designed for food enthusiasts and budding amateur chefs who want to develop the essential skills and techniques behind refined, high-quality cuisine.
Each week introduces a key component of fine dining, from knife skills and plating techniques to mastering sauces, starters, mains and desserts.
Guided by an experienced tutor with industry experience, you will prepare a range of elegant dishes each week, learning how to balance texture, flavour and visual appeal. Attention is also given to timing, organisation and hygiene – crucial elements of any culinary environment.
You will explore a variety of cuisines, ingredients and seasonal produce, while building precision, consistency and creativity in the kitchen.
