Previous knowledge or experience would be of benefit but is not essential.
Gain the key skills needed to effectively manage team members through planning and allocating day to day activities in the workplace.
You will build knowledge of the fundamentals of project planning and allocating work, as well as developing the core skill sets needed for team management, performance management and project management.
Course content:
Section 1: Project planning and performance monitoring – Learn about SMART objectives to help your team achieve its targets as well as action planning and how best to monitor your planned activities.
Section 2: Allocating work – Discover how to identify what resources are needed when completing planned activities as well as how best to assess and support team performance in achieving objectives.
Section 3: Managing team performance – Learn how to identify the causes of variance and actions to overcome this, as well as how to identify ways to improve team performance to meet objectives.
